How You Can Become A Crypto Time Traveler & Make A Lot of Money
They say that luck is when opportunity meets preparation. Reading this article may make you extremely lucky.

If you could travel back two months, you would want to take the winning lottery numbers. I know I would. Unfortunately, I can’t give you the coming week’s lottery numbers, but by the time you finish this article, I am confident that you will feel like you are getting an opportunity to go two months back in time.
If you aren’t familiar with Ordinals, you should be. While the rest of the crypto market is fading in despair, the Ordinals market is coming of age like a blossoming beauty queen. What are Ordinals? Put simply; they are NFTs on Bitcoin. What makes this opportunity amazing? Read this if you need context. If you had invested in any of the projects I wrote about in this article 2 months ago, you would be up a lot of money.
However, this opportunity could be much bigger than any projects I shared pictures of in my March article. In this article, I will share an opportunity to own an undervalued project that you’d be hard-pressed to have found on your own. At the time of writing, this project has 136 Twitter followers and 67 Discord members.
Finding this project right now is like Jonathan and Martha finding baby Superman on their property.

It’s like discovering Buster Poindexter before his chart-topping, Feeling Hot, Hot, Hot. It’s like being a George Clooney fan when he marvelously played the role of Booker on television’s Roseanne. What I’m saying is that you aren’t early. You are before early.
It Begins With a Hot Dog
A perfectly boiled hot dog from Lil’ Bits Ordinals Project
On July 4th, Americans will eat an estimated 150 million hot dogs. Annually, Americans consume 7.5 billion hot dogs. These statistics mean absolutely nothing to this article. I just found them kind of interesting.
It begins with inscription #1. Bitcoin Ordinals differ from other digital collectibles because each is inscribed on a unique Satoshi. In February, when Ordinals began inscribing, the count was relatively low. Today, it exceeds 10 million! Like anything else in collecting, older pieces are more coveted. And pieces with provenance (taken from Antiques Roadshow) have even more value.
Today, a sub-1000 Ordinal inscription has a floor price of 0.824 BTC, and here’s what it looks like:

I’m not kidding. The most economical sub-1000 Ordinal is #491, and the seller is asking for $21,000 worth of Bitcoin.
If I had $21,000 in BTC to risk, I’d strongly consider buying it. Unfortunately, I don’t. And I’ll guess you don’t either. But, as I said, you are in luck.
Back To The Hot Dog

This isn’t a picture of a hot dog. But it is a picture of another Ordinal from the Lil’ Bits collection. It may not be the most impressive piece of art, but it’s got a lot more personality than “Ordinals are cool.” And, as I will share with you, it’s a lot more affordable.
Lil’ Bits is a 2,500-piece Ordinal collection primarily inscribed in the 10,000–20,000 inscription range. Some pieces go as high as 69,000, but most are in the 10,000–20,000 range.
Why Does This Matter?
A tender piece of tuna from Lil’ Bits Ordinals project
I’ve spent more time in the Ordinals ecosystem than I’m comfortable disclosing. It’s mostly filled with 10,000-piece projects that either copy an existing ETH project or focus on an animal with 3-D glasses. It’s like pop music. On the other hand, Lil’ Bits is like the Beatles, Led Zeppelin, or The Rolling Stones.
Forgive my wordiness. I need to spell out why this is such an amazing opportunity. Imagine you are Andre the Giant, and everyone else is…everyone else. Here are three reasons why no project compares to Lil’ Bits:
It’s one of the largest completely sub-100,000 inscription projects with a massive 2,500 edition size. Most sub-100,000 projects are less than 1,000 in size.
It’s the first large collection with built-in Metadata
It’s so freaking cheap; you’d be foolish not to consider it if you are a digital collector.
Breaking down the bullets
A juicy drumstick from Lil’ Bits Ordinals collection
There are over 10 million inscriptions at the time of writing. If you can score a sub 20,000 inscription, it is in the top 0.2% of earliest Ordinals. I expect the inscriptions to explode to at least 50 million by next June. If that holds, a sub-20,000 inscription would be in the top 0.04%.
But, as I stated, most of these sub-100K inscriptions aren’t in collections. And they aren’t 2,500 edition size. When you own a Lil’ Bit, you are taking ownership of an Ordinal unicorn.
The 2,500 edition size is hugely important for a few reasons.
More editions mean the project can create a larger and more diverse community. This leads to longer-term holding and value creation.
More editions should lead to more sales volume. Have you ever tried selling a digital collectible with only 35 editions? You often have to keep dropping the floor because there is little attention on the project.
It’s also a unique value proposition because most (if not all) sub-100K collections are 1,000 editions or less. In fact, I’m not sure if any other collections sub-100K have more than 1,000 editions. Most are 150 or fewer.
What is Metadata, and why should you care?
Metadata is standard in Ethereum or Solana-based NFTs. However, currently, few Ordinals projects on Bitcoin have metadata. This means there is no way to conveniently tell rarity or traits on-chain on 99% of Ordinals’ projects today.
This wasn’t a big deal when Ordinals was small. But now, we are seeing 10,000 collections launching daily. How can you tell if one piece is more valuable or rare than another? You can’t. But this will change. When adoption grows this much, collectors need a way to differentiate their pieces from the 9,999 other pieces. Metadata provides this.
Lil’ Bits is the original large-scale collection that includes Metadata. So now, regarding unique value propositions, we have sub-100K in inscriptions and a feature that no other sub-100K large-scale collection has.
The third bullet needs its own section
How do you like your T-Bone? Rare…Sub-20K Rare from Lil’ Bits Ordinals
If you have any experience in Ordinals, you know the market is volatile. Projects can be 5x one day and go 50% by the same evening. Prices move all around. However, I’ve noticed that low inscription Ordinals seem to maintain their floors.
Everyone with half a brain recognizes that the closer to inscription number one, the better. And, if it’s Because part of a collection, there’s an added value because of the community, discoverability in marketplaces, and opportunity for the project to grow.
Projects under 20,000 inscription numbers have a floor price of 0.0154 BTC at the time of writing.
The lowest-priced sub-20K inscription looks like this and is part of a 50-piece collection where every piece is identical.
Now, I’m not knocking on the Blue Chips project. But, considering it’s not nearly as big as Lil’ Bits, doesn’t have Metadata, and it’s around $650 worth of Bitcoin for a floor piece, this illustrates how great of an opportunity Lil’ Bits is.
The Lil’ Bits collection was originally set to mint in February, but the minting was postponed. This is where luck, time travel, and the three bullets coincide. On their website, https://lilbitsnft.com/, you can mint your Lil’ Bits for 0.01 BTC (approximately $260).
Now, you aren’t guaranteed a sub-20K inscription. However, in the worst-case scenario, you still get a sub-100K inscription, part of one of the largest sub-100K collections and the first large-scale Ordinals collection featuring Metadata.
How amazing is this opportunity?

Let’s look at the 14 lowest floor prices of other sub-20K Ordinals projects that don’t have as big of a collection size or contain their Metadata.
Lil’ Bits are priced 80% less than the average-priced collection. They are larger and capable of attracting more attention and a bigger community. And they are the first large-scale collection with Metadata.
The cherry on the top
Creepy calamari from the Lil’ Bits Ordinals collection
As stated earlier, I am embarrassed to admit how deep I’ve fallen in the Ordinals rabbit hole. And I am about to share some information that people in Ordinals will know but people outside won’t. The most successful projects (I,e. commanding the highest prices) create follow-up projects and, when successful, increase the value of previous collection floors.
For example, this is evident by Distortion by Nullish commanding a 0.086 BTC floor ($2,209) and BTC Machines with a whopping 0.17 BTC floor ($4,348). These are sub-100K collections where the dev team has created successful follow-up projects. Imagine the potential growth if Lil’ Bits creates a follow-up collection. Collectors will be tripping amongst themselves to own the OG collection.
I can’t foretell if this will happen. And frankly, if it doesn’t happen, it won’t kill the narrative. But, if Lil’ Bits can successfully launch a community and draw in more collectors/investors, owning a Lil’ Bit could hold even more value.
Key Takeaways
How much would you pay for a plate-sized shrimp? from Lil’ Bits Ordinals collection
I doubt you will get to mint another sub-20,000 Ordinal collection with this opportunity. Sure, you may get one that’s over 20,000, but it’s still under 100K, is a part of the collection, and has Metadata. If you are already investing in Ordinals, this is a no-brainer. It’s like accepting the free welcome drink when you get to the resort. If you are new to Ordinals, congratulations because you just got the opportunity to travel back two months and pick up what may become one of the most sought-after Ordinal collections.
**You are not guaranteed a sub-20K inscription. However, all inscriptions in this collection are sub-70K. Per the Lil’ Bits team, earlier minters have a better chance of minting lower inscriptions.

Instruction for Minting:
1) Make sure you have a Hiro, Xverse, or Unisat Ordinals wallet. This is where you will receive your Lil’ Bit Ordinal.
2) Go to https://lilbitsnft.com/
In the pulldown, indicate how many Lil’ Bits you want to mint and hit “mint” button
3) Enter your Ordinals Inscription receive address. This is different than the Bitcoin address. Be sure to double check you have the right address. After double-checking, hit “receive here”
4) Send the amount of BTC to the address that comes up.
5) Be patient. It’s slow. Everything on BTC is slow. However, I have minted and can confirm I received my Ordinal (after some waiting). It will take a while (potentially hours), so you may want to step away from your CPU.
At the time of writing, I own Ordinals in several of the projects mentioned. I do own Lil’ Bits Ordinals as well. However, I haven’t been paid or sponsored to write this piece; digital art is subjective. This information should not be taken as investment advice. Digital assets like crypto, Ordinals, and NFTs involve risk, so you should always perform due diligence before investing. Furthermore, this article is my opinion; I am not a financial advisor.
